I'm just asking...Its ok to use a pressure washer on a RV?
I say "no!" If a pressure washer can tear a wooden plank apart, an RV is no match. Don't risk it.
For the OP:
I've had my travel trailers washed by someone else only twice in my life.
The first was when we were returning home from a couple week long trip and the trailer was a mess. As we were getting home, our local High School was having a car wash at the local mall area and we drove right by. We decided to see if they would wash the camper. It was horribly dirty.
When we pulled up those kids were all in shock. I asked how much. The going rate for a car was $5.00. Their sponsor came over and I talked to him. He said they'd do the entiere camper for $10.00. I asked if they'd do the truck too, for a total of $15.00. They were more than willing.
They all went to work, on both the truck and trailer and had it done in no time at all. Because this was for my local high school (band or sports or a field trip.... I don't remember now)... I gave them $50 and they about flipped a wig! I felt it was well worth it! Everyone left happy that day!

About 3 years ago we were traveling from Indiana to Panama City, Florida in December. The day we left Indiana it snowed and the trailer became an absolute mess, covered from end to end with horrible dirt. We were somewhere in Georgia and I was looking for a self-service car wash that had a bay or an outside bay to fit the trailer. We couldn't find any. But we stopped somewhere and I asked and the local patron suggested a place just down the road from where we were at, said they might wash the camper for us. So we went. We negotiated a price. I think it was $75.00. It was the best $75.00 we spent on that trip!
