Truck washes at many truck stops also do RVs

We're full-timers, so there is no "during your trip" for us. That said, we either do it ourselves where permitted (such as where we are at the military RV park at Aberdeen Proving Grounds) or have one of the mobile detailing businesses do it. We spent the holidays in Las Cruces, NM, this past winter and a mobile RV detailing crew hand-washed (a "waterless" system) and waxed our 36' fifth wheel for less than $200 (using good quality aircraft wax). We find the labor rates in the east and in California to be MUCH higher, though.

Full Time and I wash it 2 times a year if it needs it or not.
That wash is to clean the roof and all sides of the MH. OH!! I do it myself at my winter spot.

In the fall after my summer trip. And in the spring before my summer trip. As parked in Florida the roof gets some green mold growing on it. :)

I use Blue Beacon when on the road. When parked I go to park office and check who they recommend. Some parks allow washing of MH's. But the quality of water in many parks leaves spots all over the RV.

Self service car washes although sometimes it's hard to find one that's high enough.

I often wash my trailer at campgrounds,when camping. Seems I never have time at home. But I do not drag out hoses, and bucket, and make a scene. I get a bucket of soap water and a sponge or a wash cloth and hand wash small sections at a time. I might do just the section from the front cap to the first window. Next day just the section where the window is. Next time the front cap, next time, the back end. Basically, it's wipe on - wipe off. No fan fair, and don't make attention. I don't worry about the roof. I do it a couple times a year at home.

Campgrounds may advertise "no washing RV's". What they don't want you to do is get the hoses out and run a thousand gallons of water. But the bucket and sponge works just fine. Never, ever have I been challenged by anyone for washing my camper this way. Also, when it comes time for waxing, I do it the same way, by hand, small sections at a time, and over several days.

This keep from getting too tired, and the camper is constantly getting washed down. It also does not take but a few minutes to wipe down a 3 or 4 foot section of the camper and then get about doing something else.

This is primarily how I do it. Been doing it this way for years now.

Our MH can get quite dirty when traveling. We travel..don't stay in one place long.

We look for self service car washes that have an exterior wash bay or a tall inside bay. Have to wash the front, pull forward, wash the back. Takes $4 to $8 depending on how dirty. We have our own brush so we soap up....scrub...rinse. Some times we dry and use some spray on wax that we just rub dry. Takes us about 40 minutes to wash and wax.

Google is pretty good at helping locate a nearby car wash that will work.

I am in the same case of Rollin Evry time on the road. Do I will try as you say Rollin.

When we camp seasonally, we usually wash the entire motorhome once and wash the cab over as needed. Not all campgrounds allow washing an RV on site, most that we visit don't allow it. Fortunately, our seasonal campground does. If I needed a wash that bad on a short term camping trip, I'd look for a truck wash or a car wash with tall bays.

Yes some places don't want any hoses to be sprayed on the RV, and some will allow at least a bucket for washing. I can regularly find the park that will allow the bucket method, so for a easy wash I use 2 buckets. One for wash/soap water and the other for rinse water. I have a brush that I will scrub a small section with usually not bigger than about 6 feet, and since that area will be still wet I then shake out the brush and switch the brush to the rinse bucket and use it to put clean water over the soaped sections to rinse it. It gets pretty clean this way even though I'm not using a hose to spray the RV. I go through about 5 buckets of rinse water this way.
