Not sure about yours but my tube axles (common on 5ers) have been aligned a few times. Its done by bending the axles. You may have no axles (my previous 5er had Mor-ryde IS with no axles) but those can also be aligned. If the place you went to says "can't be done", go down the road to someone who knows what they are doing.
