Okay, I'll be the dissenting opinion. :) I use just Roto-Choks on both sides, nothing else. I did mess up once and try to pull the 5th wheel with the Roto-Choks still in place. Couldn't figure out why the darn thing wouldn't move. I did succeed in sliding the tires a foot or so before I figured out what the problem was.
After that I didn't worry about using any chocks but the Robo-Choks. :)

I have never used wedge chocks since I got RotoChoks.
I might consider using wedges as a insurance back up IF I am camping on a 45% grade
