Depends on the RV makers. ORV/NorthWoods publishes the fresh tank capacity. Total system capacity is listed on a yellow sticker on the door.
In my case, my 80 gallon tank equals 103 gallons total capacity. I have run out a couple times, and the pump can push the remaining water from the hot water tank. Just be sure to shut off the heater first, and beware there's no cold water to mix it with, so it could be a VERY hot shower.
