I've said that for YEARS! Why is it OK for tent campers to toss their grey water and not for us to dump ours.
IF I dump mine in the desert I usually dig a small hole about 12" deep and let it just trickle out, doesn't make a mess and just soaks into the parched earth where it is filtered into the aquifer.
It is ok as I stated above. Just follow the rules.
Those without sewer hook ups for their s&b have been doing so for years. A septic system with a leach bed does exactly that also.
There are also places where grey water is not allowed to drain into a septic system and must be used to water landscaping.
