Where can i buy a Jayco / Octane T26Y in NorCal?

Hi,

I am trying to purchase a new Octane rig but can't find ANYONE to help me with this in Northern California.

Here is what i have tried so far:

1. Go to Jayco website, build rig and send to both of their "local dealers" (Pan Pacific RV in Morgan Hill & Manteca Trailer and Camper). I then send quote request to both dealers and ask for bid.

Pan Pacific states that although they are an authorized Jayco dealer, that they cannot sell me an Octance because they don't carry that line or something like that.

Manteca hasn't responded at all to numerous requests

2. Engage Jayco directly via email, Facebook, and Twitter to ask for assistance. No response at all via email or Twitter.

Facebook response on Aug 28: "Hi. We've passed this along to the internal Regional Sales Manager in your area. He will be following up with you."

However no one has contacted me

3. Send quote request to Camping World RV sales multiple times as they have none in stock either, no response from them to date.

I have never had to work so hard to spend money with a manufacturer and am hoping that someone here can assist or point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

While i appreciate the intent of your comments we still keep coming back to square one. until i find a dealer who has one, or a way to get through to Jayco for assistance in doing so, i'm stuck. no amount of misdirection on new business model vs. old business model will change that.

My point here is simple, if Jayco offers customers online avenues for customer service (email, FB, Twitter) and promotes their dealer network on their website, then as a consumer i should have a realistic expectation that Jayco and their dealers execute on them (i.e. engaging with someone who wants to consume their product).

As an aside Amazon, Ebay, etc. all seem to be doing quite well proving that ecommerce works just fine when executed properly. Tesla is also now proving this for the auto industry. I would love if in my business people emailed me wanting to purchase my products, driven from the manufacturer requiring NO effort on their part except for a response from me.

thanks mustang, i checked their site and don't see any octanes.

looks like a good dealer, will keep them in mind if this all falls through.

Jeff, fair enough but who am i calling? I spoke live to Pan Pacific already and they can't help..

I suppose i could call Manteca, but they don't seem all that interested.
Dunno, it's your quest. All I can tell you is that when I have had enough of email, I pick up the phone and get done what could otherwise take days. If at all.

There are actually corporate speakers and classes now touting this to retrain a world of everyone thinking they can run their life, or business at the end of a keyboard.
