According to a recent post by the OP, this thread is about a travel trailer, not a fifth wheel.

What is apparent though, is the hitch weight of the trailer. As you can see, hitch weight is around 10% of the entire trailer weight. Even with your trailer loaded to 9600 pounds, your hitch weight will still only be 960 pounds. Now add on your hitch, and you see, you are only at 1260.
Your 3/4 ton truck should pull that weight just fine. That is why 3/4 ton trucks work well with trailers. Now, if you have a fifth wheel, the hitch would weigh a lot less, the weight comes down directly over the rear axle, and more of the weight of the fifth wheel is on the pin.
