Winterization

We are winterizing fifth wheel for the first time by ourselves. According to what we have researched, we blew out all the water with air compressor, emptied water heater, turned on the bypass valve to the water heater. We put six gallons of RV antifreeze in the fresh water tank and turned on the water pump. There is still no antifreeze coming out of the faucets. Any advice?
  • I never put the antifreeze in the tank. Disconnect the line from tank to pump and hook in a piece of hose (purchased at home building supply), put end in antifreeze bottle and turn on pump. It will suck the antifreeze out of the bottle and into your system. Then I open all faucets 'till pink stuff comes out. Shouldn't take more than about 2 to 3 gals. Don't forget to put a little down all your p-traps and some in the toilet bowl.
