Drained hot water tank, rinsed out by flushing with hose, left anode rod out. By passed hot water heater and ran the pink stuff through all the lines and into P traps, to include outside shower, also...

Tanks are empty and flushed as well as I could. Low points were drained. Haven't ever done anything with the city water connection in the past, must have just been lucky to this point? Didn't do the black tank flush thing either darnit!
