Drained hot water tank, rinsed out by flushing with hose, left anode rod out. By passed hot water heater and ran the pink stuff through all the lines and into P traps, to include outside shower, also...

You can attach a short hose to your outside shower connection and the other end to the black tank flush inlet and pump antifreeze from the shower connection thru the flush line. Quick and simple.
And the same for the fresh water inlet.
You don't say whether or not you have a washer/dryer. Or an ice maker.
