In late 2015 there was a change to ST tire ratings and now they are required to have a speed rating on ST type tires. Before the ruling change most ST tires were rated for 65 MPH without a rating on the tire and lot of the new ones are rated from 75 and up. It also seems that these speed rated tires have different construction since we weight the same tire with and without speed rating and they speed rated one weighed 7 pounds more. The non speed rated tires can still be sold till stock is gone. Couple weeks ago a forum member on another forum order from Tire Rack and got non speed rated tires so insure you getting newer tires with speed ratings.
edit - just because the tire are rated to 75 to 100 miles per hour doesn't mean it save to tow at those speeds!!!!!
Explain tire codes
