Best sewer hose for permanent installation?

So, my mom dad have reached an age where they can no longer live in the ForeTravel Motorhome and had to move into a ground level apartment in town. They are storing their RV at my place for the foreseeable future and I have it parked where I can hook it up to septic, water, and electric to use as a spare apartment for visitors when they come to visit me on the farm.

My issue is that I can't find a decent sewer hose these days. All I can find is these weak little collapsible hoses intended for the weekend RVer. I need a solution for the long term or permanent connection to my septic system.

Just looking for ideas. TIA
  • If you cannot use rigid pipe, look for Smooth Bore hose- it's polyethylene not vinyl and has no wires in it. Long lasting, UV stable.

Make sure they don't just leave the black water valve open though.Still need to fill and dump.
  • We bought our used 2005 SunnyBrook Titan in Jan. It has been in the same spot since it was delivered new and is hard piped into the sewer. We are used to a clear fitting to see the flow and how clean things are and hate it. We plan to change it the next time we go to FL. Haven’t decided if it will be part hose yet or not. There’s also no way to disconnect it if I need to without cutting pipe. Seems I’d want something with a flex joint also. Just things you might want to think about if you hard pipe it.

The best hose we found is the Drainmaster or Waste Master Hose with a cam lock fitting connection. Expensive but well worth it for travel (no leaks, easy to connect, valve at campground end, etc)...we’ve had it on our last 3 RVs. Not sure if using it on a stationary setup is justified.
  • Hard pipe, but make sure you get the outdoor rated PVC, or use something to protect it from the Sun. The regular white sch 40 turns brittle fast in my experience.
  • You can get fittings to connect it with hard pipe. For a fixed setup, that would be best.
