When we were FT we met very few Full Timers younger then US (50's)
Mostly ones that could continue working via Internet....IT, web design etc.
FEW had 'income' without having to continue working.
Military bases WITH CGs are an option for you...might need to call/confirm as they are also now available to 'civilians' and seem to be popular

Get 50% off daily rates ar participating CGs......there are restrictions (number of days, which days etc) BUT 50% off is good deal. Stay couple days and it covers yearly fee
Also Fairgrounds & City Parks.....sometimes they have CG sites and reasonable prices
COE (Corp Of Engineers) CGs.......really nice/good places to stay
If you have adequate income.....no reason to NOT go FT and travel
Regardless of AGE......most folks are very friendly
We had great experiences with folks of all ages.
Just need to be open and approach with a SMILE
