Another vote for debt free.
Far easier to make decisions when you don't have to worry about making monthly payments.
It also means you may be able to accept lower wages or part time work and still live nicely.
I would quietly put out feelers around the industry to see what the options are (just be careful it doesn't get back to your current employer)
