The only thing you would have to be careful of with an old cheap RV is that a lot of parks have a ten year rule and if they are over ten years they will want to do an inspection and make sure they are in good condition. Other parks will just not let you in.
Most parks will not take too kindly to letting your cats run loose any more than they allow dogs to run loose.
Consideration for your fellow RV'ers. Some of do not have dogs or cats and do not want animals running loose.
