I got my PP for the first time in May. I had to go to my Home State because I only have 1 photo ID (my DL), new rules. DH had a PP that expired years ago.
He just went in yesterday to get a new one 1350 miles from his 'home' state. We had to wait on his 'revised' birth certificate, so he couldn't do it at the same time I did. The other BC we had from his birth state in the 90's to apply for his original PP didn't have BOTH names of his parents. So I had to order new BC to comply with the new rules. His expired PP was his 2nd photo ID.
