I found this the other day...LINK....read all the goodies they offer. The mail forwarding company offers a "street address" so you can change your driver's license. They also will accept letters from DMV and forward the info to you, whereever you are. This turned out to be a big problem for me this last year. We haven't signed up with them yet.
The only requirement to be a "citizen of SD", is to go there once every 5 yrs. I like the idea because we wouldn't have to pay income tax. I wonder why I'd keep my Oregon domicile and pay income tax if I'm not using their roads or amenities.
As for out of state license in Arizona.......don't worry. We've been there for months and months and never been hassled. It's a given that people are from out of state. If they see you reporting to a job every morning, THEN they may question you.
