Although I don't know the laws of every state, I have never heard of one that requires you to change your registration and drivers license after only 30 days unless you are clearly intending to set up residence in that state. For example if you move to California with the intent to live here you have something like 20 days to go to DMV and changed things over. However if you just come to visit California, you can stay for up to six months in an twelve month period and not have to change on the DMV documents.
Now here's something I will tell you, don't cheat on this. Many people may ask "how will they know how long I've been in the State?" I don't know about other states, but the CHP has officers specifically assigned to work these types of cases. They have their ways to tell how long you've been in the state. If they wanted to, with the proper court order, they could even hide a GPS tracker on your motorhome to see how long it stays in the state. I have no idea if they do that or not, but evading taxes and registration fees could be a felony, so they could do it if they wanted to.
