I'm in Washington state. There is no income tax here.
-I rented a private mailbox (PMB) at a parcel store, located in a county that does not require vehicle emissions testing. I call them twice a month and forward my mail as needed.
-filled out and signed 2 USPS forms at the parcel store - USPS requires this for a contract mail service (CMRA) to receive your mail.
-changed cell phone and CC bills to be sent by US Mail and changed billing address to my PMB
-when the bills arrived at my PMB, I took them to the Dept of Licensing (DMV in other states) and changed the address on my drivers license.
-using the same bills I then changed the registration on the MH and toad.
-then I changed the addresses on the auto insurance
-then I registered to vote. WA state residents vote by mail. WA jury duty selection is based upon voter registration.
-changed cell phone and CC bills back to paperless billing.
done.
---------
-last April I had jury duty. I was 100+ miles away - 3 counties away. I went anyway. It cost me $110.00 in gas for the MH. District court paid me $26.00 *groan*
-last May I cancelled my voter registration. We'll see if that helps. I'm not going to miss voting in elections. At least it should help reduce the election junk mail.
