My 2 cents...
"retire from the military"...Learn about the different types of Tri care and which one suites you better.
"disability"...some states have reduced or free passes if service connected.
"no clue on how much to budget per month for expenses".... Glean info on here and also on-line (blogs etc)
Military FamCamps not that good of deal anymore IMO. Some still are but not like it used to be.
