We use the bubble foil cut to fit inside the window frames (on the inside). We pull the shades down to keep it in place. We do get some condensation on cold nights, but have not had any problems with mold. We are full-timers, though, and frequently pull the insulation out and wipe the windows, air out the RV, and run the ACs when appropriate to pull out moisture. We've known a number of people who use this approach without issues. (And it really helps!)

I also use Reflectix, year round. Windows covered has to do with sun load. I prefer to use a dehumidifier for condensation control.
On this and on other forums are threads regarding design and installation of interior storm windows. An option on my trailer I wish it had.
It did come with a full set of awnings which is worth having. Full custom skirting is on my list of things to obtain.
Same with tank and plumbing heaters to supplement warming via the furnace. A range of options on how to heat. What to use, and when.
I've also considered "boxes" to cover roof vents I wouldn't use in cold weather as stopping losses from the outside is more effective.
Paying attention to what the factory didn't is sort of the game. Outside accessible storage is a notorious problem. Same with plumbing penetrations (to be combined with denying access to pests).
