Is there any hope for changing this floor plan?

Aha! I just had another thought! while we are staying at home for a year...we COULD put a table for the TV on the opposite wall from where it is and put the sofa or recliners with their back to the current EC and that would keep the seating farther away from the sink! That might work!

In a S&B that's referred to as an "open floor plan".

You can't re-arrange furniture. It's really designed to fit in a specific footprint. Remember... the slide has to come in without hitting anything. I really think you'd get used to the layout. It looks nice to me. What size is this?

I was wondering if anyone had this type of FP and had actually rearranged their furniture for better "zoning."

I've looked at so many over the past few years that all the floor plans are looking the same.

I think you'll find that you will feel that way with most rigs. Just the nature of the beast. Everything is close.

As far as zoning goes, I remember that Bighorn had one model where the entertainment 'area' was in the front and the bedroom was in the rear. I think they also had one with the entertainment area in the middle with an 'L' shaped couch facing it.

The entertainment center will probably drive where the couch and recliners will be situated. Normally, you want to have as good of a view of the TV as is possible.
