I am not volunteering for anything, this is to work for my employer in another city. It's a good paying job.
Closest I've come is a one-month stint as a camp host in an NP campground an hour's drive away from the sticks 'n' bricks. But I have met a number of folks who've lived in an RV while on one job or another. Even met a couple once who were living in a tent, moving back and forth between two state park campgrounds because they both had 14 day rules.
Some of them loved it, some of them tolerated it, and some of them hated it.
I also met a guy whose job took him from city to city over a 4 state area spending a week at car dealerships. No two weeks at the same city, and while he had an apartment in one of the central cities, he said he had never stayed there for more than one night in a row. He was ok with the job and the travel, but was tired of living out of a suitcase, so we had a really long discussion about RVs. Unfortunately the auto maker for whom he worked insisted he drive one of their products. But they did make pickups, so maybe . . . .
