Question...

We are new to RVing and bought a 77 Citation camper. When we hook up the hose to the water it leaks out the top. There is a spot to hookup the hose under, a pressure gage on it, a bigger spot on top, and 2 spots for air hose over that. The water sprays out the top of the bigger opening. What do I need to fix this? If I can figure out how to post pictures I will.

    No it's not leaking out of the schrader valve. It's another place to add stuff to the tank. I'm guessing for winter isn't and such. It's a bigger opening than the one for the hose. But they are connected. When you open it up you can see the hose opening where the water comes in when the hose is connected. The bigger water opening doesn't seem to get a good seal.

    The water leaks out the top meaning the big opening on top with the screw on top. We tried thread sealing tape but it still sprays water out of it and leaks air out of it so I'm assuming it just needs to be replaced. I'm unsure of what part I need to replace this with.

    Yep, a picture would really help. Your description is fairly confusing, at least to me. Are you aware that you may have separate connections for running off city water or just filling the FW tank?
