I started to say the same about depreciating assets until I remembered how much money we lost on the house we bought in 2008 and sold last year. I try not to think about that loss to our net worth. Nothing is certain when it comes to real estate.
However I certainly agree that the RV will depreciate, some more than others. (Our 2006 Class B LTV diesel Sprinter held its value incredibly well - we used it for five years and were down only $9,000 from the buying price to the selling price.)
None of us has a crystal ball.
