Travel Check List
Before FT'ers turn the igination key to travel to the next location is there a Check-list of tasks and/or activities followed? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Safe travel to all, 2cAmerica :@

- Me and DH have separate lists, and are still refining it before we get it laminated.
I have my inside pre departure list which entails the following...
Fridge closed and latched and bars in if needed
Little fridge closed and bars in if needed
Side table stowed
Safe strapped and locked
Closet doors closed and latched
Satellitle dish down
Windows closed
Vents closed
Keurig under sink
Counters cleared
Toilet lid closed
Emergency exit closed
Shotgun, guns and magazines stored in proper location for destination
SlIdes closed
TV to the bed
Shower head down along with shower stuff( shampoo, etc )
Lights/ water pump off
Check and clean top of slides
Awning and window awnings in
Check under all tires
Patio items stored
I usually start in kitchen and work my way forward
DH's list
Water pressure regulator stored
Tanks dumped and 1/3 fresh water filled
All tires torqued
Tire pressures checked
Fluids checked in truck
Brake controller checked
Repeater power off
Air Hitch Pressure check
Safety cable attached
Hitch locked
Bikes secured and locked
Ladder secured and locked
Stabilizers up and locked
Stinky slinky in place and cap locked
Compartments locked after hook up and roto choks stored
Entry steps up and handle across door
We do a walk around together before we leave and double check everything verbally and physically. We have learned if if are interrupted by anything to start all over again so no mistakes are made. A couple minutes can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.
