Back in the '90s some WI state parks had sites that shared a power pedestal. It was not uncommon to have them 50' away from the site. These have all been fixed thankfully. I had to run out and buy an extension cord for our PUP.
One of the private CGs we frequent is an old KOA and some water spigots are in strange places. Fortunately we have 2 water hoses because in the only WI SP that has water hookups in some sites has one that is more than 30' from where most of us have our water inlet. That was another unexpected run to a hardware store.
Be prepared for anything.
