Additional charges

Let me first say I understand campgrounds need to offset rising costs.
It would be helpful if the utility, pedestal, electric, resort...fees were included in the "Trip Points" instead of trying to determine what additional charges there are at each campground. Sometimes the fees are almost the same as the points.
  • I don't know what "trip points" are either.

But I do know that there is a huge rising trend in American business to advertise and quote an unrealistically low price for something, that then calls for large numbers of add-ons with abundant surcharges for this and that, all of which are inescapable, and all of which are essential to the worthiness of the original purchase item.

It's like buying a car and discovering that wheels are extra. So is an engine. And if you want a steering wheel . . . .
  • C2C trip points are for basic site which is all C2C has control over.
Each campground is an independent business and therefore can charge/up charge as they wish.

When checking out C2C affiliate CGs 'additional' costs are noted.

Paying $10/15 night for basic camp site is hard to beat.

    Pretty inexpensive.....even with extra charges.
Especially when you consider that you couldn't even stay at majority of the CGs without high priced membership.
