I taught service management classes for years. One thing I told my students was that (most of) your customers will not judge you by the mistakes you make, but by how you respond when mistakes are made. There is no such thing as a perfect service provider.
As far as I could tell, no one I spoke with was off-shore.
Mistake was made. Response was appropriate. In my book, that is good service.
