Best Coast to Coast

I am looking for feedback from anyone who has been to a Coast to Coast rv campground on the gulf coast. We are new to Coast to coast, and looking to visit as many as we can. Texas to Florida.
Which ones did you love or hate? I have three daughters, 6, 12, & 14.
THanks in advance for any tips.

  • TLC Wolf River is in Pass Christian MS and a short drive (minutes) north of the Gulf. I thought it was quiet nice with large sites and good location. It was not the high end resort type of thing with a big club house or organized activities, but it does have a small outdoor pool and it is right on the river too for fishing if you are inclined. I would stay there again, but I don't have children to keep entertained.

2 in AL are Styx River and Wilderness. Stayed at Styx and visited Wilderness. I preferred Styx, BUT....Wilderness is quieter and has bigger sites. Both have long term residents in them. Styx is a former KOA and has a big club house and things to do. The sites are tight but I was able to manuver my 30ft. trailer no problem. Its a good drive to the Gulf from there, 45 minutes or so. Enough things to do in the area and there is a battle ship in Moblie you can go through.

I have not been to Pine Lake in Fountain FL.
  • My bad the OCP one is north of Mobile. Looks there is one a little closer and north of Gulf Shores but not exactly on the beach by any means. Prob about 30 to 45 min drive to the sand
  • Haven't been to any yet but their is one in Mobile/Gulf Shores area of Alabama that we plan to visit. Couldn't even tell you the name but I know it's an Ocean Canyons owned property

We are "new" C2C members as well.
