Others (including me) have been told by GS operators that they cannot release the tow truck until they confirm with a contracted shop that they will accept the rig. So, again, it's not a guarantee.
I'm not badmouthing GS, simply pointing out a common issue. AAA has its issues and so does every other roadside service. They all have their good points also.
