I am STILL getting junk mail from Camping World. I got my first one in April, I called Camping World, talked to someone named Sianca, and was told I would be removed from the list and not get ANY MORE junk mail from Camping World.I received another mailing in May. I was willing to forgive this one, because I know that mailings are planned in advance. On May 6, one of your Administrators posted on this forum that my address has been stopped but it could take up to four weeks.Well, it's been MORE than four weeks since May 6 and the previous mailing, and I got yet a THIRD piece of junk mail from Camping World.It's like they don't have a complete process or are ignoring their "DO NOT MAIL" listWhat do I need to do to ensure that regardless of WHAT SOURCE Camping World gets my name, that they will check their "DO NOT MAIL" list and ensure that I am not mailed?It's like they have "upped the ante" and are junk mailing me "just because." I want Camping World to not mail me ANY MORE! What does it take? Their process for putting people on DO NOT MAIL is not working.I am not buying into the "takes four weeks" because I should not have received that third mailing in June!

Join the crowd!After them promising to stop the junk on 6/12 here I just got two temporary membership cards from them with a bill!They were cut in half and mailed back in THEIR postage paid envelope.Maybe if they get enough of these they might get the message!

Tape their postage paid envelope to a box of bricks and mail it back. I'd add a note asking for no more junk mail!

If you can private message me with your contact information I can forward it to Camping World executive desk for investigation. It would also help them narrow down where the mail is coming from if you could include what type of mail you are receiving? Catalogs, New or Used RV sales information, extended warranty, etc. Thank you....Rudy, Camping World Response team.

I do it like all the rest of the junk mail I get, if I am not interested, I throw it away. If it seems interesting, I keep it. No big deal to me anyway. The tele marketers are the ones that make me mad and now the politicians are bugging us and just hanging up does not see to bother them.

I called them and wrote on this forum more than once (and was assured that it would stop) Nothing has changed and it's been months. I just recently have gotten, GSRSA "cards" and the monthly "Savings Circular" and GSRS Medical Assistance Ads and on and on and on.Their system seems hopelessly flawed, scattered among too many different "senders" of all kinds of advertising and it seems like no one entity has control of the system.To GSE...if you guys cant manage this problem I CAN. Give me 30 days, an office, a small budget and authority to make changes and I will solve this problem for you in ways that improve sales, wastes less and makes friends not enemies of your customers.The company also needs to wake up to the fact that this is not just a privacy issue but an Environmental one. The irresponsibility of sending out mass mailings to millions of people multiple times a month of which my guess is 80-95% ends up NOT READ and immediately in a landfill is appalling.

I think the CW and GS have some many databases that they can't keep their******together.

I have a Lifetime membership and roadside service until 2020, but whenever I would go into CW and pourchase something, I would always get hit with your membership is expired, is about to expire, your roadside warranty expired, etc....I would tell them, no and show them my cards that state my expiration dates (none on membership). They would argue wtih me and tell me that I needed to check because their computer said otherwise, no matter what my card says. CW/GS keeps just putting a bandaid on everything.

I dont get why it is a bad thing to try to get GSE to stop sending unwanted junk mail. And To to get them to recognize the environmental impact of their practices?

Mother Nature is just exactly that Nature...Natural. Chopping down trees to produce advertising that gets discarded and never opened is NOT a Natural act.

Wherever recycling is an option it should be recycled. However there are many many localities, Minot is one, that has NO recycling programs at all. Further recycling paper uses vast quantities of water, bleach, chemicals and fuel for transportation that would not have been used in the first place and would not end up in our waste stream if they just did not print the unwanted junk mail in the first place.

Explain to me why saving water and keeping chemicals out of our waste stream and reducing fuel usage is a bad thing? And what about it classifies it as "Bitc*&ing"?

I am amazed and disappointing that there are those, that in this day and age and with all we know of the effects of these kinds of practices, that still act as apologists and defenders of practices that are so clearly and unequivocally harmful and costly to all of us to say nothing of the planet.

I appreciate 4 X 4's comments. I feel exactly the same way!

It appears that Good Sam and Camping World are not looking in all the deep dark recessess and corners that they are getting my name and are not taking all possible actions to ensure I don't get junk mail.

I still want to be able to shop at Camping WOrld if I choose and use my discount if I choose, but I do not want Camping WOrld to assume I want their junk mail.

I got a computer (it's obvious), I can google what I need.

And, think globally act locally, as 4 X 4 said. I agree!

Just like the starfish story.
