Camping World OKC Refunds
I have cancelled my extended service plan, gap insurance, and tire insurance. After several visits and dozens of phone calls, usually unanswered, Todd Rebush (sp?) in the finance department gave me a receipt that he received the extended service plan cancellation (which he said would take a minimum of 12 weeks to process). He further stated that he knows nothing about the gap and tire policies so I will need to pursue that with Good Sam, which I did. Good Sam's rep was extremely helpful and I was able to file the cancellation through them in early August 2019. I called Good Sam's on 20 Sep 2019 to get an update. They said they sent statements to Camping World OKC on 23 and 24 August 2019 with the amounts to be refunded. I called Todd and he immediately started lying saying that he did not tell me that Good Sam's needed to process the gap and tire policies (his classic misdirection ploy)to which I told him it was a moot point and lets press on with the current issue. He stated that is was an account department issue as they handled all the refund processes finishing with "I will talk to accounting and get you an answer by the end of the day" (that was 2 weeks and many unreturned phone calls ago). After Todd avoiding me for a couple of days I contacted Nancy Longacre (sp?) who stated that finance was not telling the truth and all finance did was "write the checks after finance told them how much and where to send." Furthermore, she stated that they have had issues in the past with Todd and she would look into it and call me "one way or the other" by the end of the day. Guess what??? No call from Nancy and now she is avoiding me too!! So here I sit paying intertest on about $8500 worth of Camping World unpaid refunds!! I will be going to Camping World OKC tomorrow to try to get the site manager (if there is one) involved. I am running out of ideas short of hiring an attorney...anyone have any ideas?
