Camping World sold extended warranty - no contact numbers

Hi Marcus,

We purchased a used RV from Camping World of Macon (Byron) on 5/15/14. There seems to be a disconnect when trying to get service on an extended warranty, etc. We broke down while traveling last week and had trouble reaching Roadside Assistance (told to call 5 different numbers). Now when trying to get help with a claim on our extended warranty it took several hours to find who to call. CW was not any help since the finance person was not in today. (SAD that she is the only one that knows). Took Joe 3 hrs to find the number himself, but by that time I had already found it.

It seems that the group that once serviced some of your warranties has changed. They told me they often get calls and that their part only covers tires. I was sent to another group (5x) Each part said we don't service Good Sams sold by Camping World.
Finally, I found the correct number and Jason was very helpful at United Service Protection.
Please check into making sure everyone knows how to contact these guys on each level when leaving a dealership. I am very disappointed with the service at CW because they didn't know how to help with Finance being off today.

    I apologize for your bad experience and I am sorry you had so much trouble getting help.

    For future reference and for other customers in your situation- you should have received a document at closing called a "Service Agreement Declaration Page". This would have been one of many documents you signed at closing. This will have the information you need to file a claim on your Good Sam Extended Service Contract.

    If you don't want to wade through your pile of paperwork from purchase of your ID, (and I can't blame you if you don't) you could also call the Good Sam Elite customer service number on your Good Sam membership card. They can also help you.

    Lastly, the best people at the Camping World dealership to ask help from would be the Service Advisors. They contact the Good Sam Extended Service claims administrators all the time and should know how to get you in touch.
