I am confused. The gap insurance is provided by some insurance company, not Camping World its self, right? Why not just file a claim with the insurance company? Secondly, file a complaint with the state insurance commissioner.
GAP is covered by a separate entity, correct, however, there are several items that are required to be filled out and according to the two other Camping Worlds I have gone to, your initial dealership is supposed to file the claim on your behalf. That didn't happen and has not happened. I took care of everything on my end. Now, in order for the claim to be closed out, my original Camping World (Jacksonville, FL) has to cancel my Good Sam Extended Warranty. I contacted Good Sam via email and was informed that the dealership has to do this, I cannot do it nor request it. So, back to the beginning, I cannot get a hold of Bob Weir who is apparently the Finance Manager taking care of this. I've been attempting for several weeks and am to a point where I need someone else's assistance. I filed a complaint with Camping World, but that seems to do nothing. Without him filing the required paperwork, the GAP claim will just sit there unfiled.
