We had a trial of SiriusXM on our 2012 Chevy 3500 when we bought it, but let expire. We recently got a great offer from them & am considering taking it as it will be effective during our trip time to Yellowstone this summer, but know we will cancel once the time period is up as we don't use truck daily. I' ve heard they make you good offers to stay but we really don't need it after this trip. How hard do they pressure to continue when you call to cancel?

We have their least expensive ($10/month) in both our daily rides, love it.Have a portable unit we could use in our MH, but we aren't able to use it enough to have a third subscription,mbut maybe someday.

Go as far as cancellation department..ask about present offers...you will be surprised! DON'T BE AFRAID TO WALK! Don't ask me how I know 'cause it works. We however have no problem with going with free radio if need. Good luck!

I cancel every October in my towing vehicle.. And re subscribe in April.or May... Like stated already , DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC INFO.. They will automatically renew you at a high rate , if your not paying attention , you will realize that when your checking out your CC statement.... A promotional email here and there,, that's it..

Go as far as cancellation department..ask about present offers...you will be surprised! DON'T BE AFRAID TO WALK! Don't ask me how I know 'cause it works. We however have no problem with going with free radio if need. Good luck!

They were very pleasant when I called yesterday to cancel. The lady told me that I could stay on until August, for $25.00 and so I agreed. My prorated refund was going to be $21.00, so I figure that for 5 months, $25.00 isn't bad at all. Not ruthless in the least. Maybe because I didn't call with an attitude to begin with

Interesting idea, but I'm am more polite than the average person you'll encounter these days and I found them quite unfriendly. Perhaps an alternate hypothesis that does not presume rudeness would be that it all depends to the person who answers your call at the Sirius end of things...

The last 2 or 3 years I received emails directly after canceling asking me yo come back for as low as $20.00 for 6 months... I keep that email until I'm ready to drive that truck again ,,, I call them , tell them about the email ,give them the code,,, and it's on... Pretty easy , and have not had an issue YET...

I really like the Sirius radio service, but I never pay full price. It's kind of like a game with them. Each year I get the renewal notice, call them up and tell them I'm not willing to pay the full price. They always give me the service for half price. I'm always pleasant with them, and they're always pleasant with me.
