Claim reimbursement time frame

Two months ago, we were getting ready to meet up with our camping group and were accidentally locked out of our camper. Roadside assistance was very slow at answering apparently due to the weather and high volume of calls. I called our local rv service shop and they recommended a local locksmith that they used. They got us unlocked and we got underway.
Later that evening we were sitting around the campfire and one of our friends, who years ago had suggested that we join Good Sam, reminded me that lockouts were covered. A few days later we returned and I submitted a claim online, with a copy of the bill. I received a confirmation email that stated no further contact was needed, unless they required more information.
A few days ago, I went to the roadside assistance site, looking for someway to check the status of the claim. I sent message, but did not get any response. Seems to me that I would have heard something by now.
  • Pm sent 4/2. email said check was mailed. Still trying to find out if check was cashed.

  • Hello tegu69 and thank you for your post.

If you will send me a PM with your member number and best contact information, I’ll check the status of your claim and get back to you.

    Thank you
  • When we used an independent locksmith, I submitted the claim online to GSRA, and never heard anything other than it was received.

A few weeks later, received a check in the mail for the total amount.
  • You should have heard....should have been reimbursed by now.
