Compensation?

Does anybody on this forum know what GSRA will compensate a service provider for a service call?
I had a situation Memorial Day that required roadside assistance. I called GS and provided the information. I don't know how many calls were made by GSRA, but I do know only one answered their phone. Though he couldn't come on Memorial Day, he was available the following AM.
He arrived at 8AM and in a little over an hour, had me on the road.
This service provider drove 46 miles one way to my breakdown. What would GSRA consider "fair compensation" in this situation?

  • I received exceptional service and the service call was much longer than anticipated. Since he was with me for over and hour and a half, I asked about his compensation and found it was not adequate for the service I received so I gave him a nice tip which he tried to decline.
  • I have no idea. If GS is paying for it I don't know why it would matter. Are you trying to figure out the cost of the call vs paying GS a yearly fee?

I paid the service provider for parts and labor for the repair. GSRA is to pay for the service call. The question I'm asking, what is considered fair compensation for the service call?
