All of my employees including myself are based on performance. That performance includes taking care of customers, managing inventory, servicing units, selling insurance, sell magazine adds, buying and selling RVs and RV accessories and the GS club. My job is provide a service for the customer, respect and compensate our employees and make a profit. There are aways occasions where people are counseled or terminated for failing to perform their job. I would never condone management by intimidation or fear but I always hold people accountable for results. One of the things that has plagued many companies and sometimes this country is our unwillingness to hold people accountable. That won't happen under my watch and our company and the products and services I'm obligated to perfect won't be compromised. The ultimate employer and the person who signs my check is the customer. It's a fine balance to run the business and take care of the customer. I make mistakes and will continue to get better, all of us do and will but we are all judged based on something.
