In response to "can I fix it", of course I can. I do that at my home when I have the time and tool available. However, i do not carry a full plumbing repair kit with me while I am 600 miles from home. I also pay a landscaper for weekly service at my home even though I know how to mow a yard. The "can you fix it" comment seems intentionally obnoxious.
