Free Camping Coupon

Question

Another camper recently told me that every time he renews his Good Sam membership, he is sent a coupon with his card giving him a free night of camping.  I have been a member 7 years and don't recall ever getting this. 3-4 years ago there was a $5 off deal if you printed a certificate from Good Sam but that is all I remember.  I usually renew at Camping World and am a Canadian member....maybe that's why I don't get this offer?  I have asked 3 folks at the park we are currently in and none have heard of this benefit.  Anyone ever received this coupon?

I've seen others post about them, but we never got one. But we are life members now. But even before that, I've only seen the $5 off thing you mentioned.

Maybe you need to renew online or something. I'm sure there must be some sort of caveat for it.

I'm thinking it is only given when you first join Good Sam.  We have been members for many years now but only got a coupon for a free night when we joined.

I don't have the response from Mark F but as I recall, he felt I would get a coupon for a free night the next time I renewed.  I just renewed and asked about this and was told GS no longer provides a coupon for a free night.

It's a coupon for 25.00 off a night and you pay up front and then send it in to Good Sam for a refund.
