Free Issues of Trailer Life

We attended an RV show a few years ago and admission fee included 4 issue of Trailer Life for free. Since I was already a subscriber, they indicated that I'd get a 4 issue extension on my existing subscription.

The Good News: I actually received 4 additional issues of Trailer Life Magazine.

The bad news: For 4 months, I received duplicate copies of Trailer Life magazine and no extension of my subscription.

After subscribing to this magazine for about 8 years, I let my subscription lapse this fall. I've enjoyed the magazine, but am at the point in my life where I am paring down and also cutting unnecessary expenses.

I’ve reached out to the Trailer Life team to get an answer on the Jan issue at Barnes & Noble. We sincerely apologize that you did not receive a response to your original question to Trailer Life directly.

Regarding the 4 free issues, they are on a set schedule (March, May, July & Sept.) and are on a go-forward basis. You joined the club in Nov. of 2014 so your 4 free issues will start with the March 2015 issue. You’ll then receive the 2015 May, July & Sept. issues. I see in the system that your preference is set as you noted—watch for the March issue to arrive in mid Feb. While the print copies are on a go-forward basis, you can always view the digital issues at GoodSamClub.com/highways.

You noted non receipt of MotorHome. I looked you up in the system & do not see that you’ve set your preference. I’ve set your preference for MotorHome by mail.

We appreciate your membership!

Well the person at the register actually took my magazine preference and said all was set to go that there was nothing further I needed to do.

And I have to say in all due respect that if GSC ACTUALLY appreciated my membership the other bigger question of my E mail would have been answered and instead of throwing the onus back on me re: the missing issues some action on GS's part is actually required at this point to find and send the 4 free issues. Please do so at your earliest convenience and update me.

I signed up as I was instructed. Got nothing. Called customer service and was told they would make sure I got my missed magazine and the next three were set up to be mailed to me.
Short time later I received my missed copy...nothing since that's been over a year ago or so. Good luck.

Do they really still print and mail a magazine?

I have been waiting many months for Motorhome magazine offer, nothing either. Sadly, they are a shell of what they used to be, and I just scan periodically at Barnes & Noble.
