Good Sam Insurance Claim

Like everyone I never wished to use my insurance. BUT I have it to get my vehicles repaired when an accident does happen.
I contacted GS about 2/10/17. Almost the first words out of the person's mouth was: "you know that getting a Travel Trailer repaired is not like a car!". No I do not! GS's promos is why I switched all my vehicles from AAA to GS.
I took the Trailer to Camping World and to a factory authorized dealer and got quotes. I provide the data, names, and phone numbers to the GS agent, who said she would call me the next day. I call the day after when she had not called, the recording said the office was closed. When I tried both the agent & her boss, the boss was on vacation and the agent gone for the long weekend. I had to get home so on 2/20/2017, I left the Trailer with Camping World of New Braunfels. It was not until 1st week in may 2017 that the repair shop said that GS Insurance had authorized the repair. They have ordered parts, but I still have no date because they said the factory had not provided a ship date: now 5/25/2017. Much more to the story!!HELP!!

  • I would find out in writing(if possibe) which place caused the delay. Either the insurance company or Camping World let you down.
    It could be more info was needed by the insurance company and camping world was slow to provide it

    OR
    The insurance company dragged their feet.

    One way your beach is with CW the other with the insurance company I would darn well want to know which before my renewal of insurance time.

    The best way to get a written response is to use snail mail and ask the question. Give only a return address and see if they write you back
