Good Sam insurance

We were with GoodSam insurance for our motorhome and cars for about 16 years. This year they sent a 10% increase so we looked around and found same coverage for much less than we had been paying. Just got notice that they said 2 years ago we owed $10 plus they will chage us $50 to cancel. So very glad we have left.

  • I cancelled my national general policy(integon indemnity?) in December because they were going to raise my premium by 25% even though we had no claims. contacted miller insurance and got a much better rate. let our previous agent we were cancelling, he stated we owed $25.00 cancelation fee. also, on my insurance due date they took the money out of my checking account anyway. I called to complain and they said they would issue me a refund check. 40 days later I am still waiting for that refund check. they say it is in the mail. and if I don't see it in 3-4 days they said to call again. if it doesn't show up they will cancel that check and within 30 days I would be reimbursed. anybody else have these problems with this insurance company?

  • The administrator asked for a private contact. This is for appearance only I guess. If there is not much reaction to this then they do not care.
  • I've had National Interstate from day 1 (2001), and guess I will continue with them.
    Once, when CW was pushing a RV insurance "special" I stopped by a CW store to inquire. The rate quoted was alot more than what I was paying. I think it was a GMAC policy with the Good Sam name.
  • Good Sam has got us out of a jam a few times now, and I am very happy with their service.
