Good Sam insurance

I am very displeased with the good Sam insurance I bought
I was told by the agent that everything was covered in-out-and under the trailer
I even purchased the tire plan he proposed
We bought this insurance b4 going to alaska for peace of mind
What a mistake all I was told that my claims were not covered
1lost tire,1 gas regulator, and a awning arm that separated from the trailer and broke off a piece of the inner arm
I will tell everyone I can not to get this insurance
I was totally misrepresented

  • You said good Sam insurance, but there really isn't such a thing. They broker insurance. Who is the carrier? GMAC?

X2. You need to take some responsibility for a document you signed.

They're no different from other companies in this respect. Front line employees are there to do things by the book, not make exceptions whenever they feel like it. As you move up the food chain, you can find people who are authorized to make exceptions/authorize payments in the interest of goodwill.

I was dealing with a temp agency once and the recruiter sent me on an interview that was totally incompatible with what I was looking for. It was a long drive so I requested mileage reimbursement from the recruiter for a wasted trip. Neither she nor her supervisor could authorize it. I emailed the CEO of the company and he directed a regional VP to help me. That VP wrote a check the day we talked on the phone.
