Again, if you don't want to have the logo at your campground, then withdraw from the program. If being associated with the program brings you more money then you have a decision to make: Make more money through the program or dislike the logo so much or cater to those "offended by the logo" that you withdraw from the program and lose those dollars the program brings to you.
Your comparison to a Star of David or a crescent moon are a stretch. It isn't like the Good Sam logo is a cross or a crucifix which are the common identifiers for Christianity. It is a halo which finds application in many cartoons, movies and everyday use to indicate "goodness." The Good Sam website says the following: "Today, Good Sam's halo and broad smile continue to signify friendliness among RVers and an eagerness to serve."
Your reference to 68% of the world's population being non-Christian is a hollow argument, as Good Sam operates only in Canada and the US and its territories. They do not operate in Kuwait, China or Afghanistan. And as you have said, the halo never even raised a religious connection for you.
Perhaps what a previous commenter said in jest is what some think the logo should be. Have some piercings and tatoos on the guy. Or perhaps having a logo being male is the problem. So make him female, or transgendered. And make him non-white. I am sure that whatever you do will manage to "offend" those who are easily offended.
What a shame. Even something that was chosen to indicate "friendliness among RVers and an eagerness to serve" is now politically incorrect.
