Question

Roadside assistance is close to the expiration date. Got an email stating they attempted to charge my credit card for renewal but it did not go through. Geez, I wonder why? Anyhow Good Sam would like me to pay $139 or $149. Last year I paid $69. Granted there were promotions going on which I took advantage of. I emailed back that I had no intention of paying double what I did last year and please make another offer. Have not heard back from them and doubt I will. The old gray mare is just not what she used to be.

Call them and ask for a customer retention supervisor. They usually have room to negotiate more than a email server.

Double the price,  a reward for being a member renewing with them it’s  cheaper to join another service and they all use the same contractors, you would think they would offer some incentives to keep the members coming back rather than charge more and have you jump ship ?
