Good Sam Roadside Assistance

I just renewed my roadside assistance as it was ready to expire.(never had to use it) I went online and paid 112 dollars. Then my mail arrived from my forwarder with the renewal notice and it stated 99 dollars. Then on this site, where I renewed my plan for the second year, they offer a reduced rate for new customers of 69 dollars?

What gives? You would think a lesser rate would be for the one renewing? And why mail me a renewal for 99 dollars, and then when I log on online, GS knows it is me and offers for 112?

All of this gives you a true feeling of being had??? Like a taxi with no meter and make up the rate as you go?

Yes no one put a gun to my head to purchase, but I guess in the future, another thing I will need to shop around for...not about 13 dollars or 40 dollars just principal.

  • my experience was similar as the mailer offered a lower rate vs. online. I called in and renewed the cheaper way.
