Good Sam Roadside Insurance

Question

I just renewed my roadside assistance policy, first I went online and followed the procedure to renew - the basic policy was $109.95 which was three dollars less than the price quoted on my renewal letter ($112.95), after checking the proper blocks I continued to the payment page where to my surprise the price was now $136.95 with no explanation of the difference - So, before deciding to cancel the policy I called the 888 number listed and renewed for $107.95 - something here looks a bit fishy, Is Good Sam resorting to the classic "Bait & Switch" routine?
Is this happening to other Good Sam customers?

And you probably could of renewed for less if you knew the secrets of the game.It is not bait and switch it is upselling. SOmething you checked could have caused the increase in price.

Personally I wouldn't.     use good Sam road asst I had it with a 5 the wheel and one the first day of a 30 day trip I had a blower tire out side  of Ka . I called good Sam RSA and was told that they couldnt  n get anyone to help me until Monday and this was Sat so I  called AAA and they were there in one hour.I complained to good Sam they did nothing
